A : Did you hear the news?    Sally broke up with David!     I found out last night.   

 

B : They broke up a few weeks ago.   She's dating a new guy called Sam.

 

A : Really?   That was fast....    When did she meet a new guy?  

 

B : About two weeks ago.   I met him last week.  

 

A : Why didn't you tell me?    So....    What's Sam like? (Sam은 어때? 어떤 사람이야?)

 

B : He's somewhat boring. (어느정도 재미없는 사람이야.)       

 

A : Oh, really?   That's a shame. (그거 안 됐다.)   What does he look like? 

 

B : He's different from David. (David랑은 달라.)    He's pretty tall.     But he's very skinny.

 

A : Oh, dear...    So he's a pretty lanky guy, huh?       lanky 키가 크로 마른

 

B : And he has long curly hair.    

 

A : It's a shame about David. (David은 아쉽다.)    He was so nice. 

 

B : So now you think he was nice.

 

A : I never said he wasn't nice.    Just.... you know.    Just surprised that he was with Sally.

 

B : You can be fickle. (너는 변덕스러울 때가 있어.)  

 

A : I am not fickle!    Why would you say that..... (왜 그런 말을 해....) 

     I can change my opinion about someone. 

 

B : I don't think David likes you anyway.

 

A : Really?   Well....    I didn't like him either.
